We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Therefore, we will happily offer a store credit to the full amount of your piece less shipping costs, within the first 14 days after receiving your piece.
To be eligible for a return your item is subject to the following conditions:
- The item must be returned within 14 days of receiving your piece.
- Items must be returned in their original condition: unworn, neither scratched or damaged and within its original packaging
- Proof of purchase and or original receipt can be provided.
- Earrings cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons.
- Gift Cards may not be returned and are valid for three years from the date of issue.
- Customised items (such as special orders or personalised items) cannot be returned.
- All sale items are a final sale and cannot be returned for for a store credit, refund, or exchange unless the item received is faulty.
To start a return, you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to receive authorisation of your return. Please include the following details:
- Order Number
- The product you are returning
- Reason for the return
- If you would like an exchange (should stock be available) or receive a store credit.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
When returning your item, we recommend using trackable postage methods so you can trace your return as we do not assume responsibility should your parcel be lost.
Upon receiving your item, they will undergo a quality review and once cleared, you will receive a refund or credit note for the purchase price (excluding original shipping cost) directly to the original method of purchase. Please note we do not provide a refund for change of mind, only for manufacturing faults. Store credits are available for change of mind should your piece meet the conditions outlined above. Store credits are valid for 12 months from date of issue.
If you have paid for your order through AfterPay, we will issue you with a store credit as we are unable to void your AfterPay payments. We endeavour to process refunds as soon as they are received but please allow up to 7 business days for returns to be processed. You will receive email notification of the status of your refund once finalised.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Item
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item. If you believe your item is faulty please contact our team via email firstname.lastname@example.org, so that we can resolve this for you. In compliance with Australian consumer law, Siava Jewellery is not required to provide a refund or exchange if you make an incorrect selection or change your mind. This includes payments made with AfterPay.
If an item is faulty, we will happily replace or repair where available otherwise a store credit or refund will be offered. All claims for faulty items are assessed on an individual basis, with the outcome at the sole discretion of Siava Jewellery. If a refund is required, it will be processed back via the original payment method used to place the order. Proof of purchase is required for any exchange, return or refund. We also have a 3-month warranty period valid for jewellery that is proven to be defective due to the manufacturing process.
Returning your faulty item to us. Siava jewellery will only reimburse shipping on a faulty item up to $25 AUD.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
